He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hinkle and Ada Hinkle (Groves); and his son William J. Hinkle, II. He is survived by: his wife Marsha G. Hinkle (Gordon) of Fayetteville; his son Gordon Hinkle (Patti) of Damascus, MD; his grandchildren, David Hinkle (Natalie), Allison Hinkle, Ray Hinkle (Karey), Matt Hinkle and Erin Bowden (Jamie); and his sister Mary Hinkle of Lewisburg, WV.. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
