She was predeceased by: her parents, Crawford E. Needy and Leota B. Needy (Strawderman); her husbands, Harvey Bowers of Chambersburg, PA and T. K. Nitterhouse of Chambersburg, PA; her children, Robin L. Stewart and Todd A. Ulrich; her siblings, Juanita L. Wren, Robert Needy and Terry Needy; and her nephews, Timothy Berklite and Jeff Needy.
She is survived by: her brother Michael Needy (Betty) of Lititz, PA; her nieces, Jennifer Adelsberger (Joe), Tammy Carstensen (Mike) and Joyce Needy (Tammy); and her nephew Phillip Needy. She is also survived by great nieces and great-nephews as well as great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
