He is survived by: his children, Randy Day of Murphy, NC, Robin Knight of Fayetteville, Ricky Day (Sheila) of Pickens, SC, Raymond Day, Jr. (Kari) of Easley, SC and Robert Day (Renee) of Mont Alto; his stepchildren, Charlie Helman (Kim) of Fayetteville and Lisa Payne of Deltona, FL; and his sister Delores Falcone of Chambersburg. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
