It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman William Dixon Jr. of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman William Dixon, Sr. and Rosie R. Dixon (Starner); his wife Ethel Marie Dixon (Beamer); his sons, Gregory Dixon and Dennis Dixon; and his sisters, Dorothy Weaver and Helen Prosser.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Donna R. Dixon of Biglerville; his granddaughters, Karen Morris of Gettysburg and Amy Williams of Gettysburg; and his stepgrandson Steven M. Szczesniuk of Biglerville. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Centenery United Methodist Church (99 N Main St, Biglerville, PA 17307). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
