He was predeceased by: his parent Hayward U. Shaw; his granddaughter Ruby Mercado; and his great grandchild Brandon Shaw. He is survived by: his spouse Dollie Marie Shaw (Keefer); his parent Texie M. Arbogast-Voss; his children, Tina Sparks of Hanover, Sue Head of Biglerville, Chirmisa "Missy" Torres, Timothy Arndt of Hanover, Hayward Shaw, II, Jennifer Reese of Hanover and Terry D. Shaw (Shayla) of Wright City, MO; and his siblings, Roger Shaw of Fayetteville and Monta Beaver of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
