We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2021, at the age of 86, Harold Bennett of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, born in Three Springs, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bennett and Margaret Hamilton Bennett; his son Rodney L. Bennett; his siblings, Edith Gebhart, George and Paul Bennett; and his son-in-law James W. Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. McMonigal Bennett; his children, Darrel L. Bennett (Vicki) of Biglerville and Vickie L. Olsen (Lars) of Chambersburg; his grandsons, Derek Bennett Boone and Ryan Michael Boone; and his siblings, Betty Brown, John, Richard, Gene and Dugan Bennett.
The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests memorial contributions in his memory be made to Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital, 1249 Cocoa Avenue, Suite 115, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033 where the funds are used locally to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
