He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Layton and Helen Layton (Fix); his daughter Michele Layton; and his sister Doris Lee Souders. He is survived by: his wife Carol S. Layton; his daughter Kim Rotz (Brinton); and his sister Nancy Chamberlain.
