He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton B. McLaughlin and Mary Elizabeth Armstrong McLaughlin; his wife Nancy Jane Fickes McLaughlin; and his siblings, John, Robert, Roy, Walter McLaughlin, Vivian McLaughlin, Bernice McCleary, Phyllis Hewitt and Dolores Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Larry E. McLaughlin (Sue) of Fayetteville and Dixie Jane Burkett (Gary) of Chambersburg; his granddaughters, Lori Edmunds (Jeff) and Renee Ambrose (Mike); his great grandchildren, Dylan Murray, Shane Ambrose and David Edmunds; and his brother Ray McLaughlin (Shelby) of Chambersburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
