He was predeceased by : his parents, Anton Dietsch and Anna Dietsch (Uhing); and his sister Shirley Schwartz. He is survived by : his wife Kathy; his children, Colleen Cornatzer (Tracy), Kelley Smith (Steve), Ryan Dietsch, Mary Patella (Chris), Michael Dietsch and Andrew Dietsch (Morgan); his sisters, Donna Sudbeck and Doris Heine; his grandchildren, Meghan, Rebecca, Rowan, Garrott, Brennen, Julia, Spicer, Declan, Mirin, Christopher, Agnes and Sterling; and his great grandchildren, Kayden, Ayvery, Grant and Charlotte.

Viewing was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A vigil service was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church (1095 Church Rd, Orrtanna, PA 17353). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
