He is survived by: his wife Janet Gauthier Hodge; and his children, Joel Hodge Sr. of Hilton Head, SC, Leslie Hammer-Fields (Christopher) of College Park, MD, Christopher Hodge (Betty) of Sykesville, MD and Lara Flanagan (Christopher) of Rhinebeck, NY. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
