She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Ulrich and Nettie West Ulrich; her husband William McNew, Sr.; her son John McNew; and her siblings, David Ulrich, Harold Ulrich, Shirley Baughman, Helen Heiter, Charles Ulrich and Goldie Stouffer.
She is survived by: her son William "Bill" McNew, Jr. (Kathi) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Kristi Mattzela (Jim) of Port Matilda and Jamie Empert (Joe); her great grandchildren, Heather, Alex and Owen Mattzela of Port Matilda; and her sisters, Delores McNew of Chambersburg and Darlene Varner of Chambersburg.
