He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford C. Eberly and Margaret E. Eberly (Keefer). He is survived by: his wife W. Kay Eberly (Cluck); his children, Todd A. Eberly (Emily) of Chambersburg and Kristen D. Swope (Dennis) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Jenna Perry (Justin) of Chambersburg, Tyler Swope (Michal) of Mont Alto, Cory Eberly (Jess Clark) of Brooksville, FL, Sean Eberly of Chambersburg and Jade Swope; his great grandchildren, Emma Swope, Noah Swope, Layla Thorsen, Luke Swope, Paisley Perry and Layken Ridenour; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kylee Perry; and his sister Donna Bonebrake of Waynesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
