It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Bell Swigart of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Bell Swigart and John Workman Swigart; and his siblings, Nancy Shedd (Swigart) and John Workman Swigart, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Swigart (Hamburg); his children, Carrie Ruth Swigart (Dieter Lindskog) of Woodbridge, CT, Jennifer (Swigart) and John Christian Swigart (Delia P. Swigart) of McLean, VA; and his grandchildren, Charlotte G. Lindskog, Emma J. Lindskog, Wesley R. Newman, Shelby J. Newman, Isabella P. Swigart, Evelina P. Swigart and Luke P. Swigart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM at the Stone Church of the Brethren (1623 Moore St, Huntingdon, PA 16652). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Library (330 Penn Street, Huntingdon, PA 16652); the Huntingdon County Historical Society (106 4th St., Huntingdon, PA 16652); or Mooresville Cemetery (9412 Autumn Road, Petersburg, PA 16669).
