He is survived by: his daughter Melanie White; his stepchildren, Veronica Metts, Jeremiah Roberts and David Blazes; and his siblings, Cathy McGavitt (James, Sr) of Belle Vernon, Edward White, Jr. of Nevada, Millard White (Pam) of Belle Vernon, Jeffery White of Charleroi, David White (Sue) of Charleroi and William Lees of Fayette City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
