She was predeceased by: her husband John "Shorty" Smetanka. She is survived by: her children, John E Smetanka, Jr. (Kim), Cynthia M. Alawan (Deeb) of Strongsville, OH, Matthew J. Smetanka (Perryopolis) and Marijo Arison (Bobby); her grandchildren, Mitzi, Corey, Chelsea, Kamley, Deeb Jr., Kaitlyn and Colton; and her great grandchildren, Ryan and Carly.
Battling cancer, pneumonia, COVID all took a toll on her body but never on her spirit.
