He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Mattay, Sr. and Agnes Mattay. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stanko Mattay; his son Adam Mattay (Cheryl) of Perryopolis; his brother Charles Mattay of New Salem; and his grandchildren, Logan Mattay and Katelyn Mattay.
