It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Mattie of Fayette City, Pennsylvania, born in Allison, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Teto Mattie and Ida Mattie (Franks); his daughter Debbie Meyers; his grandson Joshua Meyers; and his siblings, Teto, Albert, Nello, Liz, Helen, Annie, Maggie and Lucy.
He is survived by: his wife Connie J. Mattie (Musar); his pet Bella; his children, John, Tony, Tim, Mary and Christy; his grandchildren, Nick, Nathan, Nevin, Brandon, Tyler, Courtnie, Sarah, Drew, Steven and Randy; his sister Ida Popeish; his friends, Barb and Linda; and his close friends, Colleen, Becky and Matt.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to any K-9 training organization.
