She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Rykaceski and Mary Nitosky Rykaceski; her husband Fred V. Carter; and her brothers, Steve, Joseph and John Rykaceski.
She is survived by: her sons, Fred Carter (Rose) of Lower Burrell, Dale Carter (Kim), Jerry Carter (Cindy) of Apollo and Dennis Carter (Anita) of Valencia; her grandchildren, Jim Carter (Colette), Eric Carter (Tina), Chad Carter, Doug Carter, Katie Carter, Emily Gureckis (John), Christy Borch (Jim), Daniel Carter (Jessica) and Randy Carter; her sisters, Stella Uleski of Freeport and Jenny Meyers; and her sister-in-law Marge Rykaceski of Lower Burrell. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
