She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. McWhirter and Bernice O. McWhirter (Carroll); her son Bruce Shank; and her brother Lewis McWhirter. She is survived by: her husband Richard K. Shank, Sr.; her children, Richard K. Shank, Jr. (Carla) of Apollo and Nancy Hill of Sarver; her grandchildren, Richard C. Shank of Wexford, Michael Shank (Tina Arduini), Tamara Shank of Vandergrift, Shannon E. Provanzo Hill (Matt), Jeffrey Hill, Jr. of Sarver and Shane Paul Hill (Kristen Brothers) of Sarver; her great grandchildren, Cady, Finn and Maiya Shank; her siblings, Ralph McWhirter (Joyce) of Lancaster and Margaret Ramage; and her sister-in-law Beverly Meseradino.
