He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Schreckengost and Stephania Sekeras Schreckengost; his sons, Joshua G. Schreckengost and Jeffrey Schreckengost; his son-in-law John Smith; and his siblings, John, Paul, Frank, Steve Sekeras William, Joseph Schreckengost, Margaret Morrow, Mary Vartawian and Julie Karpinski.
He is survived by: his wife Joy M. Schreckengost (Stull); and his children, Tamara Schreckengost (Tom Brzezinski) of Natrona Heights, PA, Herman L. Schreckengost of Uniontown, PA and Tina Smith of Tarentum, PA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
