He is survived by: his sons, Frederick Barron and Tazwell Franklin III; his wife Barbara Franklin; his child Katura Franklin; his grandson Eric Franklin (Erica); his great grandchild Averey; and his siblings, Kenneth Franklin, Ida Franklin, Emma Franklin, Ruby Wright, Martha Pace, Grace Crisp and Brenda Gregory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
