He is survived by: his children, Kenya James, Latrell Brockman, Takerra Patsey (Sean), Schawaun Samuels and Mandise Howell; his brothers, Truman and Paul Tatum; his godchildren, Shalana, Ike, Livery Wade and Giovontae William; his niece Hope Hilly; and his close friend Deacon Gary Lee. He is also survived by his wife and caregiver, Cherise Michelle Brockman Tatum whom he married.
