He was predeceased by: his parents, David Dowling and Catherine Dowling (Strawbridge); and his brothers, John, Arthur, George, Louis and Leo Dowling.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Polly" Slater; his children, Maureen Skinner (Jody) of Bedford, WY, Anne Lombardi (Peter) of Brookfield, OH, Camilla "Kim" Simko of Sharon, Mary Rauch (Samuel) of Sharon, Nora Songer, Kate Campbell (Diondrea) of Clermont, FL, Kevin Dowling (Maria) of Gibsonia, PA, Chris Dowling (Joy) of Zephyrhills, FL and Thomas Dowling (Elizabeth) of Philadelphia, PA; and his son-in-law Joseph Simko.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the St. John XXIII Home Auxillary, 2250 Shenango Valley FWY, Hermitage, PA 16148; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
