With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florene Ham of Farrell, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florene Ham to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Bridges and Lelia D. Bridges (Evans); her husband Prentiss "Tutelo" Ham, Sr.; her children, Leslie Brooke Carthorn and William Denson Carthorn; her grandchildren, Amari Wise and Kenjai Ham; her brother Lonnie Bridges; and her niece Marla Lites.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Carthorn, III (Aleta) of Pittsburgh and Tino Carthorn (Cherise Lowe) of Farrell; her grandchild LaFonda Carthorn; her siblings, Jerry Teague of Farrell, James Teague of Columbus, Joyce Williams of Farrell, Chester Bridges, Jr. (Betty) of Colorado Springs, Isaac Bridges (Rhonda) of Farrell, Lloyd Bridges of Aurora and Sterling Bridges (Evelyn) of Warner Robins, Georgia; her close friends, Mari Jones and Francine Talbert; and her pet Fanci Ham. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Baptist Church (500 Sharon New Castle Rd, Farrell, PA 16121). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
