She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chalfant and Ruby Chalfant (Shelkey); and her husband Robert W. Whetsel. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Whetsel of Wilmington, NC, Ron Whetsel of Longs and Richard Whetsel of Nashville, TN; and her brother William Chalfant of Hermitage, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
