He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Cumberland and Emma Hennings (Fowler); his siblings, Herbert Cumberland, Catherine Moore, Clifford Cumberland, Leonard Cumberland and Edna Weaver; and his stepfather George Hennings.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Cumberland; his daughters, Paula Barnes (Cleve) and Brenda Haines (Derrick); his granddaughter Tara Barnes; and his sister Jean Vesecka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
