Joseph A. Hardy III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Hardy III of Farmington, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Hardy and Katherine Hardy; his friend Ed Ryan of Ryan Homes; his brother Green Hills Lumber; his children, Joseph A. Hardy IV of McMurray, Paul Hardy of Bel Air, Robin Hardy Freed of Boca Raton, FL., Katherine Hardy Drake of Plain City, Ohio, Margaret Hardy of Belle Vernon, PA, Paige Hardy Enriquez of Melbourne, FL, Taylor Hardy of Pittsburgh, PA. and JJ Hardy of Farmington, PA.; his grandchildren, Alex Hardy, Laura Eichorn, Todd Hardy, Norman Hardy, Steven Hardy, Jennifer Fike, Rebecca Roberto, Meghan Wyatt, Robyn Coady, Sarah McClain, Ben Drake, Devin Drake, PJ Magerko-Liquorice, Sophia Enriquez and Liam Enriquez; his stepsons, Logan Williams of Uniontown, PA, Lloyd Williams of Uniontown, PA and Austin Hardy of Farmington, PA.; his brothers, Robert Hardy and Norman Hardy; and his former wife Dottie. He was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, non-family members shall be encouraged to make donations in my name to Habitat for Humanity or The Pennsylvania Classic Foundation. Donations are being accepted for: HABITAT HUMANITY INTERNATIONAL INC (HABITAT FOR HUMANITY INC) PENNSYLVANIA CLASSIC FOUNDATION.
