She was predeceased by: her child Ricky Lee; and her sister Betty McElroy. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Daniel Byer and Robert R. (late Joyce); and her grandchildren, Kaylee, Carrie, Joey, Justin, Dustin, Melenni, Melissa and Robert. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
