He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Mason and Mary Ryder Mason. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Panek; his children, Michael Mason, Marissa Mason (Rob) and Kathleen Mason; his sister Patricia Rosencrance (Thomas); his mother-in-law Romaine Panek; and his grandsons, Tanner and Owen Mason. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wyoming Valley Children's Association, 1133 Wyoming Ave Forty Fort, PA 18704.
