He was predeceased by: his parent Clemens Banellis; his siblings, James Banellis, Marie Theresa Yuhas and Rose Mary Kapish; and his nephew John Kapish.
He is survived by: his parent Anna Judge Banellis; his wife Mary Ann; his children, Donald Banellis of Pittston and Ann Marie Banellis (Gerald Stook); his brother Charles Banellis (Carol); his granddaughter Gabriella Soroka of Wilkes-Barre; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Simonitis (Dave), Donna Dalessandro (Gabe), Stanley Kapish (Hannon), Charles Kapish (Janette) and Charles Banellis (Rita); his friends, Dawood Salem, Paul Yuhas and George McNulty; and also, Exeter and Falls.
