He was predeceased by: his parents, William N. Knickman and Etta Knickman (French); his wife Diane L. Stewart; his daughter Victoria Atkins; and his siblings, Gary Knickman, Janet Allers, Annette Baggett and Lois Knickman.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Burns (David), Pamela Minhas, Tracy Burns (Michael), Stephen Atkins (Wendy), Kristen Knickman (Rob Ryder) and Matthew Knickman (Caitlyn Koester); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole, Sara, Shawn, Jennifer, Courtney, David and Regan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
