With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Catrabone Berchtold of Fairview, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth J. Reed and Myrtle G. Reed (Babcock); her former husband John J. Catrabone Jr.; her sister Kay Kalivoda; and her siblings-in-law, Vincent Rapp, Gregory Catrabone, Richard Catrabone and Johanne Catrabone.
She is survived by: her husband James P. Berchtold; her sons, John J. Catrabone III (Julie), Matthew Catrabone (Bernadette) and Mark Catrabone (Rae Jean); her grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Gabrielle, Ava, Gian, Logan, Adrienne and Reed Catrabone; her great grandchild Leo; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Catrabone and Karen Rapp Clark (Richard Clark). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
