He was predeceased by: his father Forest Uplinger. He is survived by: his wife Lori Uplinger; his sons, Michael (Amy) and Jeffrey (Katie); his grandchildren, Paige, Justin, Ryan and Thea; and his brothers, Dale, Steve (Darlene) and Daniel (Jennifer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Alliance Church.
