It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dale Mercer of Fairview, Pennsylvania, born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mercer and Mary Highley Burskey; his stepmother Geneva Mercer; his spouses, Cheryl Krasinski Mercer and Lee Butts; his brothers, Bill and Chuck Mercer; his stepbrothers, Jim and Bob Clark; his sister Betty Anne Oldaker; his daughter Christina Mercer; and his sister-in-law Earlene Mercer.
He is survived by: his brothers, Rick, Roger Joe (Debbie) and Dave Mercer (Debbie); his brother-in-law Dencil Oldaker; his children, Melanie Osban (Loren), Colleen Loeslien and James Butts; his grandchildren, Dawson, Ashley Butts (Amelia), Mike Loeslien and Robin Schoiack (Tristan); his great grandchild Nolan Schoiack; and his former wife Diane Tomes Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
