It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Slaven (Fairview, Pennsylvania), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cyrus and Myrtle May Slaven (Cumley). He is survived by: his wife Severia "Sivy" Slaven (Canton); his children, Tim Slaven of Bradford, Karen Ralph (Denise Bergenty) of Torrington, CT and Terri Stalmach (Gary) of Erie; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Ralph, Ryan Lohrer, Tyler Stalmach, Taylor Slaven and Tate Slaven.
