He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Klier and Thecla Klier (Nies); and his sisters, Margaret Rand, Mary Therese Teske and Jeanne Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Klier (Hrinda); his daughters, Denise Krainski (Edmund) of Fairview, PA, Suzanne Mills (James) of Cranesville, PA and Jane Patterson (Douglas) of Centerville, OH; his grandchildren, Lauren Krainski (Jeff Kranking) of Seattle, WA, Jackie Morris (Andrew) of Lorton, VA, Dr. John D. Patterson and Dr. Jenna M. Patterson; his great grandchildren, Camilla Kranking and Mason Morris; and his caregivers, Amy, Tarra and Debbie S.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
