He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Mary Hughes Sr. (Dorsey); and his great grandchild Paisley Russell. He is survived by: his wife Debra Hughes (Huff); his children, Melinda Slider (David), Katherine Hughes, Jennifer Whittmore and Harold Hughes III; his sister Beth Roble; his grandchildren, Katrina Nolan (Howie), David Slider Jr. (Amanda), Alexandra Slider, Briana Empey, Kora Empey, Sarah Hughes, Coby Hughes and Dylan Serafini-Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Russell, Addison Russell, Lily Nolan and Theo Nolan.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edder Family Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Skip's name may be made to "The Harold Hughes Jr. Memorial Fund," under the care of Edder Family Funeral Home, LLC.
