He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Yaple and Virginia Yaple (Smith); his siblings, Gary, Benjamin Yaple and Kathleen Guarino of Erie; and his friends, Denise Blair of Erie and Randy Cmiel of Spring Creek.
He is survived by: his significant other Sherrill Ann Yaple (Fling); his close friend Vance Blair; his children, Kelly Bechdel of Lake City, Kerry Hoderny (Jason) of Fairview and Gary Yaple (Kristin) of Millcreek; his grandchildren, Zachary Haile, Selena Haile and Aaron Bechdel; his great grandchild Liam Haile; his siblings, Judy Delinski (Richard) of Woodbridge, VA, Shirley Anderson (Bob) of South Carolina, Christine Hirz (Mike) of Millcreek and Mark Yaple (Carol) of Erie; his brother-in-law Bucky Fling (Kathy) of Erie; his uncle Ronald Smith; and his cousin Donny Smith (Dawn). He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty one great nieces and nephews.
