He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Gladys Johnson (Carlson); and his sister Barbara Dittenhauser. He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Baldwin; his children, Melissa Violante (Nicholas), Katie Johnson and Michael Johnson (Chelsey); and his brother-in-law Alfred Dittenhauser. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
