She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Cochrane and Mary Cochrane; her husband Marion Richard "Sonny" Ford; and her siblings, Harry Ladimer "Laddy" Cochrane and Virginia Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Annalynn Shuttleworth (Tim) of Fairview, Douglas Ford (Yolanda) of Adamstown, MD, Rick Ford (Beth) of Brownsburg, IN and Mary Susan Clark (Robert) of Wabash, IN; her grandchildren, Danielle Edwards (Jonathan), Lauren Murray (Matthew), Nicola Hagen (Matthew), Thomas Shuttleworth (Samantha), James Shuttleworth, Stephanie Ford, Alexander Ford, Amanda "Mindi" Ford, Mauralynne Ford, Evan Ford, Katie Galgano (Jesse), Shannon Sanders (Wesley), Annalynn Regan (Iliana) and ORiley Hamlin; and her sister-in-law Aurelia Ford Cochrane of Apex, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beyond her deep love and commitment to family, she was very active and had many interests, including gardening, refinishing furniture, decorating, flower arranging, and a love for learning until she was afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease.
