He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Kruse and Elsie Kreider Kruse; his daughter Carol L. Brooks; and his siblings, Paul Kruse, Eleanor Rood, Charlotte Davis and Roger Kruse.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Gerbracht Kruse; his children, Ed Kruse (Sally) of Fairview, Betsy Dworek (Chris) of Mercer, PA, Terry Williams (Art) of Fairview and Dennis Carner of Fairview; his son-in-law Richard Brooks; his grandchildren, E. J., Kyle, Neil, Derek, Natasha, Seth, Quincy and Lane; and his great grandchildren, Pearl and Tommy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 regulations, private services were held at the convenience of the family.
