She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Houpt and Sophia Houpt; her husband Bob; her children, Nancy Pesch and David Zewe; and her siblings, Charles Houpt, Henry Houpt, Father Samuel Houpt, Sister Mary, Emma Glassbrenner, Erma Houpt, Esther Arch and Patricia Houpt.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Knorr (Bob) of Girard, PA, Robin Dewey (Dan) of Fairview, PA, Michael Zewe (Beth) of Cranesville, PA and Joseph Zewe (Laura) of Pittsburgh, PA; her children-in-law, Karen Zewe of Yardley, PA and Richard Pesch of Franklin, PA; and her sister Trudy Flaherty of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Emmaus Ministries, Inc., 345 East 9th Street, Erie, PA 16503; St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, P.O. Box 32, Girard, PA 16417; or have a memorial mass for Dorothy at the church of your choice.
