David Chivers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2021, at the age of 70, David Chivers of Fairview, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd D. Chivers and Margaret Antolik Chivers; and his son Colin Chivers. He is survived by: his children, Emily Yochim (Chris) of Fairview, John Chivers (Melissa) of Fairview and Timothy Chivers of Fairview; his siblings, Darlene Chivers of Huntingdon, PA, Nancy Kohler-Cunningham (Wayne) of Millcreek and Boyd Chivers (Lynn) of Candia; his former wife Mary Burke Chivers of Fairview; and his grandchildren, Seth, Elliot, Oliver, Annalee, Isaac, Ella, Laila, Burke and Colin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard on Friday from 2 to 6pm and on Saturday from 11am until 3pm, with all CDC guidelines followed, masks and social distancing.Private burial in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.Memorials may be made to the Fairview School Foundation, 7466 McCray Rd.
