Thompson of Fairview, Pennsylvania, born in Maytown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 92, on September 11, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter K. Young and Violet Marks Young; her husband Richard E. Thompson; her great grandchild Chase Corcoran; and her siblings, Walter K. Young, Jr., Jacob F. Young, Mildred Kilgore and Mary Eshleman.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Griffe of Ephrata and Gerard D. (Teresa Thompson) of Leola; her grandchildren, Jennifer Corcoran, Douglas Griffe, Patrick and Elizabeth Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Katie, Kyle Corcoran and Tessa Thompson.
