He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gilbert and Evelyn McElwee of Lafeyette Hill; and his wife Christine McElwee. He is survived by: his brother David McElwee (Mary); and his children, Mark Jr. (Rebecca), Kit (Rich) and Cassandra.
