She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Clyde Gruver and Bernice Smail Gruver; her husband Richard Thomas Doverspike; her sister Barb Gaston; and her brother-in-law Junior Troup.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Shick (Wendell) of Fairmount City, Andy Doverspike (Patricia) and Donald Doverspike (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Tom Shick (Ashlee), Tim Shick (Jill), Alicia Doverspike, Seth Doverspike (Kara) and Coleman Doverspike; her great grandchildren, Bryce Shick, Jayce Doverspike, Alexis and Gavin; her siblings, Jane Himes (David) of New Castle, Vickie Troup, Kathy Crissman (Dave) of Hawthorn, Robin Smith (Bill) of Fairmount City, William Gruver (Jody), Dennis Gruver (Diane) of New Bethlehem and James Gruver (Terri) of Oak Ridge; and her brother-in-law Leroy Gaston of Seminole. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
