She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gibson and Jessie Gibson (Hill); and her sister Marilyn Suzanne "Susie" Slaugenhaupt. She is survived by: her husband Frank Sowers of Fairmount City; and her children, Kenneth George Sowers (Karen) of North Carolina and Dawna Allison (Kenneth) of Fairmount City. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
