He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Wiant and Genevieve Wiant (Burford); and his wife Ruby (Reichard). He is survived by: his children, Danny A. Wiant (Roberta) of Timblin, Genny Early (Paul) of East Brady and Vernon Wiant (Jennifer) of Brookville; his grandchildren, Danny Wiant, Jr., Robert Bruce Wiant, Cory Wiant, Crystal Rankin, Ryan Drayer and Alyssa Wiant; and his brother Bill Wiant (Pauline) of Rimersburg. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
