He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gustav and Mary Gunkel; his wife Miriam V. (Smith); his children, Mark W. Gunkel (Joann) of Levittown and Janice Daubert (Bob) of Langhorne; and his siblings, Alma Miller of Winchester, KY, Mary Mahler (Pete) of High Point, NC, Madeline O'Neill, Frank Gunkel and Johanna Blodgett. He was also cherished by 3 great great granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
