He was predeceased by: his parents, John Soares and Josephine Soares; and his sister Linda McKenna. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Jennifer Troia (Stefanio), Christine Soares (Amit Shah) and Michele Gregory (Jim); and his grandchildren, Natalie, Olivia Troia, Ellie and Prem Shah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
